Early Intervention Centre(2008)
To ensure timely care for children with developmental challenges, Amma Illam established its Early Intervention Centre in 2008. This centre provides specialized therapies and support to children at a young age, helping them develop essential skills and preparing them for future learning and independence. More than 50 children are currently setting benefitted through this program.
Sensory Integration Therapy
Children with sensory difficulties are guided through structured activities that improve their ability to process and respond to sensory information. These therapies enhance attention span, body balance, coordination and overall awareness.
Activities of Daily Living (ADL) Skills
Practical training is given on day today basin so that the children can conduct their routine activities in an independent manner. This includes:
- Self-cleaning and grooming.
- Eating and dressing skills.
- Simple household activities.
- Social interaction and communication practices.
Development Therapy
Development therapy focuses on cognitive, emotional and motor development. Exercises and activities are designed to improve mobility, strengthen muscles and encourage social behavior. Children receive personalized care to overcome developmental delays and gradually move towards independence.
